STANDING SEAM

The standing seam metal roof has raised interlocking seams which attach one panel to another. With standing seam roofs, the fastener is concealed and there are no holes in the roofing panels. When it comes to the material of your metal roofing you can choose from copper, zinc, steel, or aluminum.

Stamped metal roofing is a technique where metal sheets are fabricated with unique patterns, designs, or textures through a process called stamping and this style has an exposed fastener. These patterns come in different styles and colours, replicating the appearance of other roofing materials such as tiles, shingles, or slate.

Steel roofing shingles make it possible to enjoy the aesthetic appeal of common asphalt shingles or slate tile with the strength, durability, and convenience of steel roofing. A roof is considered a low slope when the pitch is 3:12 and below. This means any roof that’s less than 3 vertical units (inches or feet) up for every 12 horizontal units out is considered low slope. A roof with a low slope doesn’t have enough pitch for water to drain normally down to the gutters.
